5 Coupon Inserts in Sunday's Paper!

Whether you're an old pro at couponing or you're looking to get started, this is the Sunday to stock up on newspapers. There will be 5 coupon inserts in this Sunday's paper. You read that right - 5 coupon inserts! Buy more than one paper (or get the inserts from someone else), it'll be worth it!

If you didn't already know, next week there will be no coupon inserts because it's Easter. :(

Free Pepsi and Fruit Snacks! Thanks Target!

Target has a deal this week if you buy $15 work of pepsi products, you get a $5 gift card. Their 12 packs are $3 each. So, when you buy 5 that would be $2 each if you subtract the value of the gift card. Well, I had 5 $2 off MQ's that were mailed to me from the Frito-Lay rebate a few months ago. So, free Pepsi!

Also, target has a coupon on their website (you can print them off at the registry in the store too) for $1 off Market Pantry Fruit Snacks. You can get this small bag for $.89. So, it's a money maker!

Lastly, I found this Johnson's baby shampoo on clearance for $2.54. I had a $1 MQ and a Target coupon for $.75. So, it was only $.79!

Oh how I miss the deals. It feels so good to be back!

Thrifting For Gifts!

OK. I'm not necessarily back on a regular basis yet, but I wanted to make time to post this so my friend could see himself on my blog. Please comment so he can read what you think!

Sometimes you come across a great gift while thrifting. Check out this cool Kangol hat I found last time I was thrifting. I knew it would be perfect for a friend. Here he is posing in it. Doesn't he look gangsta!

I know a lot of my readers love thrifting. But for the others, don't knock thrifting for gifts. Here's why. Thrifting is green. Why buy more new stuff when there is perfectly good stuff already out there? Thrifting is good for your budget. Why buy a $50 hat, when you can get it for $1.50? Lastly, are you really going to let retailers tell you that you have to buy their new stuff for a gift to be good? I sure am not!

Find out more about thrifting at my favorite thrifting blog The Thrifty Chicks!
