Valentine's Day is Tomorrow

With the state of the economy these days, I find it really hard to justify spending tons of money on a nice dinner, flowers, cards, candy, etc... for Valentines Day. So, here is a frugal way to celebrate Valentine's Day: The Valentine's Challenge. Thanks The Happy Housewife!

Essentially, you pick a day after Valentine's Day to celebrate. (Who says you can only show each other how much you love each other on February 14th!!!?) Set a budget for each other. The Happy Housewife suggests $10 each. Then, go shopping after Valentine's Day when everything is on sale/clearance. See how much you can get each other...I bet you'll be surprised!

Also, since you're already celebrating on another day besides February 14, use this coupon to eat out at TGIF's and buy one entree get one free! Click here to print the coupon.

Let me know if you will take the challenge on. I will share how we did and I want to hear how you did. Happy Valentines Day!
